Daniel K. Jacob joined the firm in 2024 and concentrates his practice on civil litigation in state and federal courts.
Background and Education
Mr. Jacob earned his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Missouri. After graduating from law school, he served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Attorney General Office of Missouri. In 2013, Mr. Jacob moved to Hawaii and started at the Hawaii Department of the Attorney General where he provided advice and counsel to various divisions within the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. After eight years as a Deputy Attorney General, he spent over two years in the litigation division of the Department of the Corporation Counsel, City and County of Honolulu practicing tort litigation. During his time at Corporation Counsel, Mr. Jacob obtained a defense verdict in a jury trial on behalf of the City and County of Honolulu’s favor.

Mr. Jacob is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the States of Hawaii and Missouri. He has served his community as a member of the Waikiki Neighborhood Board since 2021
