To
meet the demands of our growing legal practice, Kobayashi, Sugita
& Goda continues to recruit associate candidates from select law
schools across the country. We are committed to recruiting associates
who are self-motivated, team-oriented and well-rounded. These and
other personal qualities are considered together with the candidate’s
academic credentials and legal training. Kobayashi, Sugita & Goda
hires associates believed to have the skills and motivation necessary
to become partners in the firm.
Most of Kobayashi, Sugita & Goda's new associates come from our
Summer Associate
Program. The Program seeks to immerse second year students in
all aspects of the firm’s culture; client meetings, weekly educational
lunches and contact with a variety of partners and associates. In
addition, Summer Associates participate in numerous social activities
throughout the summer, which allow them to meet and interact with
lawyers and staff members on an informal basis and with each other.
