Robert Ueoka is a Partner of the
firm specializing in corporate law, business immigration law and
administrative law including liquor licensing and franchise law.
Prior
to joining the firm, Robert served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the
Honorable Boyd P. Mossman, Circuit Judge of the Second Circuit Court,
State of
Hawaii.
Robert was also a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City
and County
of Honolulu
where he prosecuted criminal cases. In addition, Robert
practiced corporate law and civil litigation with another firm in Honolulu.
Robert
joined Kobayashi, Sugita & Goda in February 2001 and he
specializes in complex business immigration cases including employment
and investment visas, and applications for lawful permanent residence
for business professionals. Since joining Kobayashi, Sugita
& Goda, Robert has handled corporate matters and
he has represented numerous clients at administrative hearings
in all jurisdictions in the State of Hawaii
involving applications for liquor licenses and adjudication hearings on
potential violations.
Robert
is a lecturer on immigration and liquor licensing matters and he is a
member of the American Bar Association and Hawaii State Bar
Association. Robert is also the Treasurer of the Hawaii
Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a Director
of the Kiwanis Executive Club of Honolulu.
