Michael M.
Colón
Mr. Colón joined Kobayashi,
Sugita & Goda in 2008 as an associate practicing commercial
litigation and insurance law.
He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the William S.
Richardson School of Law, at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in
2007.
During Law School, Mr. Colón served as a summer law
clerk for Justice Simeon R. Acoba at the Supreme Court of the State
of Hawai'i. In that capacity, Mr.
Colón conducted research of key legal issues, as well as drafting
legal memoranda for judicial opinions.
Mr. Colón founded La
Alianza Hawai'i, the Hispanic law
student’s association at the William S. Richardson School of Law.
Mr. Colón earned his
Bachelor’s Degree in Ethnic Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Mr. Colón is a member of
the American Bar Association, the Hawai'i State Bar Association, as
well as the National Hispanic Bar Association. He is licensed to practice
law in all state and federal courts in Hawai'i.
