Mr. Moore became an
associate of the law firm in the fall of 2008. Prior
to joining the firm, he worked for one year as an associate at Bays
Deaver Lung Rose & Holma.
Mr. Moore concentrates
his practice in commercial litigation, with an emphasis on defending
architects, engineers and design professionals. Mr.
Moore has also represented developers, financial institutions and major
manufacturers in environmental compliance matters, regulatory and
zoning issues, and contractual disputes.
Mr. Moore graduated
magna cum laude from Tulane
Law
School
in New
Orleans, Louisiana
in 2007. He was a
member of the Moot Court Board, and was inducted into the Order of the
Coif. While in law
school, Mr. Moore received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in
American Common Law Property, International Environmental Law, and
Toxic Tort Litigation Practice. In
his upper-level Contracts seminar, Mr. Moore’s paper on the use of
mathematical formal methods in software development contracts was
selected as the best in the class.
Before entering law
school, Mr. Moore lived for three years in Hsinchu, Taiwan,
where he studied Mandarin Chinese, taught kindergarten and elementary
school, and owned a Mexican restaurant.
Mr. Moore is a member if
the Hawaii
State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice
before all Hawaii
and Federal courts.
