Prior to attending law school, Mr. Tongg worked as a project engineer/construction manager for nine years in Hawaii.  Upon graduating from law school in 1996, he joined Kobayashi, Sugita & Goda and now specializes in real estate and business sales and acquisitions, business formation, mergers and reorganizations, real estate financing, commercial leasing, and general corporate and business matters, and employment counseling (e.g. employee handbooks, personnel policies, employment contracts, personnel action and procedures, and other employment-related matters).

Mr. Tongg is a member of the American and Hawaii State Bar Associations.
